The WI Network for Peace and Justice is the umbrella 501c3 non-profit organization

supporting the work of 87 member groups around Wisconsin.



As the network continues to grow we realize the vital role it plays in Wisconsin grassroots organizing. We hope to expand our board to keep the momentum towards peace and justice vibrant and relevant. Keeping us connected and helping each other in timely ways is critical. The People's Gala

Celebrate 30 years of the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign in Madison at this year's Annual Gathering.

At the Islamic Center of Madison 21 N Orchard St. WI Faith Voices for Justice is sponsoring this program called Interfaith Intersections These are live events in which three panelists from different faith traditions share their personal perspectives on a given topic. These panelists are not clergy members and speak based on their individual experiences, rather than representing their entire faith tradition. Following the panel discussion, participants will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about the topic at small group tables

    The WNPJ Environmental Justice Task Force works to increase awareness and build connections among people and groups in Wisconsin to bring marginalized and frontline voices, understandings, and experiences to the forefront. Many of us have heard the School House Rock song “I’m Just a Bill”, but do we actually understand how a bill becomes a law? And do we understand there are ways that we can engage in the process, especially for local and state laws?

    Join Rev. Breanna Illéné, Director of Ecumenical Innovation and Justice Initiatives at the Wisconsin Council of Churches to learn about advocacy and engaging in legislative hearings. We will discuss how a bill becomes a law at the state level and the process of engaging in public testimony, along with why it’s important that we, as people of faith show up.   • 5/14 @ 5:00pm: "The Beauty and Strength of Ukraine" with Natalka Akulenko. Natalka was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in a family of railway workers and engineers. She graduated from the Kyiv State University and worked to promote clean energy and international cooperation in Europe. She lives in Madison and is an active member of the local Ukrainian community.     NOTE Echo Valley Hope will offer TPRF's Peace Education Program beginning Wednesday, June 18 at 6:30 PM CST. and will continue every Tuesday through August 20th.
