WNPJ connects and engages member groups to advance a sustainable world free from violence and injustice.
We offer these pathways to build networks throughout the state to strengthen our collective power, and serve as a catalyst for community organizing and education.

Our members and member organizations are encouraged to share your action items and events with WNPJ at info@wnpj.org We will publicize your efforts on WNPJ's website and social media, and in our weekly e-bulletin to subscribers.
We would also like photographs (with decent resolution) of your group's activities to include in a slider on WNPJ's upcoming new website and newsletters. Photos of creative work, people meeting, celebrating, gatherings or protests are welcomed. Please name the photographer if you want us to credit them on the website.
Please refrain from using copyrighted images. There are scouts who look for photos that may infringe on copyright laws. Infringements of the use of unlicensed photos may result in a (sometimes hefty) fee.
Here are some excellent sources for free images. Some ask you to credit the creator, others not.

Fall and Spring Gatherings
Per our by-laws, each year WNPJ holds two main gatherings; a Spring Steering Committee meeting for member groups and a Fall Assembly for all members and allies. These gatherings help us collective review our work, chart our next steps and strengthen our overall purpose and mission as we move forward.

Community Tabling
WNPJ enjoys public interface at a variety of locations. The Network shares the spots we reserve with interested member groups. We already have a spot reserved at the largest farmer’s market in WI at the state capitol in Madison on Saturday mornings. Site #15 at the King St corner of the Square.
Tabling starts April 12 through Nov 8, 2025 in Madison. Watch for updates, & when it's time to sign up, Click here for your member group to sign up to share the table!
WNPJ is committed to grounding in the Just Transition framework
created by the Climate Justice Alliance.

In their own words, Climate Justice Alliance describes the framework:
Just Transition is a vision-led, unifying and place-based set of principles, processes and practices that build economic and political power to shift from an extractive economy to a regenerative economy. This means approaching production and consumption cycles holistically and in a waste-free way. The transition itself must be just and equitable, redressing past harms and creating new relationships of power for the future through reparations. If the process of transition is not just, the outcome will never be. Just Transition describes both where we are going and how we get there.
As WNPJ grounds our work in a Just Transition, we see our role as:
CONNECTOR: Creating opportunities for members to get to know each other and each other’s work.
CATALYST: Sharing educational resources about the Just Transition framework and other innovative visions and actions.
INCUBATOR: Supporting member groups work grounded in Just Transition and other innovative visions and actions.
AMPLIFIER: Investing resources in the vision and leadership of those on the frontlines and most impacted by the extractive economy.
REFLECTION SPACE: Offering opportunities and tools for network members to reflect on their work.
