Special note to WNPJ member groups about the upcoming No Kings Rally in Madison * Sat. Oct 18th!
There’s an opportunity for groups for the Oct 18th Rally in Madison! Madison Area DSA invites your organization to participate in the "No Kings, No Bosses, No Billionaires" Bloc at No Kings Day. The "official" march is called for 2pm at McPike Park on Saturday, October 18th. We are planning a "Community Conversation and Art Build" (where organizations would be welcome to table) before the march at 12pm, then to join the march as a bloc, then hold teach-ins and tabling at the capital after the march. The hope is to create a big, beautiful bloc that celebrates creativity, community, and working-class power.
We are convening a bloc around a basic program to bring some much needed political vision to this event, and to help cohere left, labor, and pro-Palestine organizations into a powerful united front that can fight the fascists and win a better world. If your organization agrees with the following program, we invite you to endorse the bloc and participate in our day-of events.
- No Genocide, No Deportations, No Mass Incarceration
- Healthcare, Housing, Education for All
- Fund People’s Needs, Not Endless Wars!
- Union Jobs for All!
If your group is interested in endorsing, please reply to this message (DSA Madison dsamadison@gmail.com ...with your organization's logo, and let us know if your members are interested in tabling, hosting a teach-in, or contributing in other ways, such as marshalling or providing logistical support. Please let us know if you have any questions, and we look forward to marching with you! In Solidarity, Madison Area DSA
