Action Alert from Faith in Place and 350.org WI

Call on Your Members of Congress to Preserve Federal Solar for All Funding!

The EPA is beginning to send termination letters for the US EPA Solar for All federal program as early as today.

In Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, this program represents $335 million in clean energy investments and good-paying jobs in underserved communities.

If the EPA moves forward with this, it will devastate our region's progress toward accessible, affordable clean energy and hand a major win to corporate polluters. Congress did not vote to rescind funding that was already obligated. Yet the EPA is now canceling federal Solar for All awards anyway, ignoring legislative intent and jeopardizing programs already in motion.

We need your voice. Right now.

Use this form to send a message to your members of Congress. Ask them to contact EPA Administrator Zeldin and to strongly oppose this action.

Personalized messages are more likely to be read. If you can, add a few words about why this matters to you or your community.

WAVE Special Screening and virtual Discussion of "American Coup: Wilmington 1898" – Wednesday, Aug 13th 5:15 pm

You're invited to a special multi-part event hosted by WAVE Educational Fund. This powerful film uncovers a pivotal moment in our nation’s past that had been deliberately erased, yet continues to shape our present.

The documentary tells the little-known story of the only coup d’état in the history of the US. Self-described white supremacists used intimidation and violence to destroy Black political and economic power and overthrow Wilmington’s democratically-elected, multi-racial government.

When you sign up, you’ll receive:

A private link on August 5th to stream the film on your own time (available for one week)

A link to join a live group viewing and discussion on Zoom August 13th

The Wednesday August 13th event will include an opportunity to view the film together, beginning at 5:15 p.m. You can then join us later, at 7:00 p.m., for a panel discussion that reflects on what the documentary tells us about democracy, race, and power today.  Whether you prefer to watch on your own or experience it with others, we’ll be creating space for learning, growth, and conversation. Sign me up!

We believe understanding the past is essential to building a safer, more just future. We hope you’ll take part in this important event. admin@waveedfund.org
