Peace Action WI and UNA USA Greater Milwaukee Host their Annual Potluck – Milwaukee
Saturday, June 21st
Get together with old friends, meet new friends, and enjoy some good food, beverages, and conversation! Saturday – June 21st from 1 – 4 PM Volunteers are needed to help set up from 12 – 1 PM Zao MKE Church – 2319 East Kenwood Blvd. The picnic will be held outdoors on the lawn in front of Zao Churchor inside the church in case of rain Free bratwurst, veggie burgers, potato salad, and beer will be provided. Please bring your favorite potluck dish to share. Paper plates, napkins, cups, and utensils will be provided. Here are some options for parking:

Juneteenth Celebration in Baraboo
Thur. June 19, 5 - 9 pm Downtown Baraboo. This celebration of freedom and culture will include food, vendors, and of course, music. Mad City Funk will play at 7 pm. Bring your appetite and your dancing shoes! The Baraboo Acts Coalition is a proud sponsor of the 2nd annual Juneteenth event in Baraboo. We at WISDOM invite you to save the date for a training in collaboration with National Religious Campaign Against Torture. In this webinar during June Torture Awareness Month, you will learn about how your faith community can partner with NRCAT to lead public witness vigils on the 23rd of each month to draw attention to the estimated 122,00 people who are held for 23 hours a day in solitary confinement in U.S. prisons and jails. The webinar will feature leaders of WISDOM, whose members have been leading these vigils as we work for racial and economic justice.
