The Muslim Women’s Coalition (MWC) was always rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion, with respect, courtesy, and appreciation as core principles.
Founded in 1994, MWC began as a local resource organization with the goal of promoting a more accurate understanding of Islam and Muslim women. Team members are given meaningful opportunities to apply their unique skills within the nonprofit sector. They are valued for their individual talents and encouraged to grow their confidence through new initiatives.

Guided by the vision of Executive Director Janan Najeeb and the Board of Directors, MWC’s dedicated and talented team is committed to addressing the needs of the Milwaukee area community. Whether tackling small tasks or monumental challenges, they are always ready to take action and make a difference.
