Social movement coalitions materialize when distinct activist groups enter into an agreement to cooperate and collaborate towards common goals. Coalitions are inter organizational agreements formed for the purpose of collectively addressing a specific set of policy or political objectives, involving cooperative efforts that may include a “single project” or “multiple activities over time.”
