Gathering in Faith to stand in solidarity as we pray for peace - Kenosha Nov 16

Event Dates:

It has been, to say the least, a difficult year for the people of the city of Kenosha.  This week tensions are, once again, very high.  Please see below for an invitation from the Religious Leaders Caucus of CUSH (Congregations United to Serve Humanity, the WISDOM organization in Kenosha County).  It would be great if others are able to get to Kenosha to stand and pray with them on Tuesday.

If distance or other obligations make it hard for you to get to Kenosha, we are asking everyone in WISDOM to stop and take a minute at 12 Noon on Tuesday to join your thoughts and prayers with the families of those who lost loved ones in the shooting, with the people of Kenosha, and with everyone involved.

Please join CUSH Religious Leaders for a Gathering in Faith to stand in solidarity as we pray for peace, wrestle with what justice looks like, and to lift up the need to speak out and the right to gather without fear.  CUSH RLC Members will lead us in prayer, song, and reflection.

We anticipate a verdict in the Rittenhouse trial to come Monday or Tuesday at the latest.  We are inviting the public to find peace and strength as we stand with our colleagues and friends.
