Please join the Wisconsin Council of ChurchesFirst Congregational UCC Madison and the Interfaith Peace Working Group for a monthly Evensong service.  In response to the needs of the world, we are hosting evenings of prayer, song, learning, and discussion. We hope that these services inspire faithful spiritual, social and political engagement.  We welcome people of all faiths or of no faith.

Join us on Tuesday, November 23rd at 7:00 with Linda Ketcham leading the presentation. Register here.

Linda Ketcham is the Director of JustDane (formerly Madison-area Urban Ministry). She holds a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice Sciences from Illinois State University. Linda is in recovery and is a Certified Women for Sobriety Moderator. Linda is very active in her community, serving on many Committees and Commissions such as the City/County Homeless Issues Committee and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Awards Commission. She also served as the LGBTQ+ representative on the Madison Police Department Policy and Procedure Review Ad-Hoc Committee. Linda is a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Madison, WI.

Invitation to Contribute Music: Additionally, if you have the capacity and interest, we are looking to expand our library of music we can share during the service (because of the Zoom client, we now share recordings of music instead of performing live). We are looking for music that is of the general flavor of "Taizé", as well as international and shape-note tunes (though recommendations of any variety are appreciated). Some proficiency in self-recording is desired, though certainly not necessary. Please email caleigh@workerjustice.org if you are interested or have any questions.
