**News from our Statewide Meeting**

In case you missed our July 14 Statewide meeting, here are some highlights - and save the date for our next Statewide meeting on Zoom, Monday August 9th at 7pm.

At the meeting we had a consciousness raising discussion in which we shared a video about the recent Moral Monday March on Manchin and McConnell and discussed the MLK quote: “Power for poor people will really mean having the ability, the togetherness, the assertiveness, and the aggressiveness to make the power structure of this nation say yes when they may be desirous to say no.”

We also heard about what the WI PPC has been up to recently including the June 7th press conference in Racine about the Third Reconstruction Resolution, the recent State Budget Teach-in led by the Labor Committee, and the We Won’t Be Silent Anymore project.

One more time, please click to find a way to get involved or join us for the July 26th action in Milwaukee.

Forward together, not one step back!
