Contact Congress to Pay Our Dues to the UN

UNA-USA - Did you hear the news? President Biden just released his initial budget request. While we remain optimistic about this administration’s efforts to #GetUSBack, there are still challenges ahead of us.

As you may know, the United States currently owes more than $1 billion to the UN. With a newly elected administration and a new Congress, we have a renewed opportunity to address this funding gap that has grown dramatically over the past few years. Today, there remains a paramount urgency to push Congress to deliver the essential resources we owe to the UN.

This is our moment to lead by the power of our example, work with our allies and partners, and build a better global future that works for all people. Most importantly, this is your moment to urge our elected officials to support the important work of the UN.

Can I count on you to call upon your Members of Congress to pay our assessed dues to the UN on time and in full?

Now more than ever, the world needs the UN and the UN needs you. Together, we can use our collective voices to get our country to pull its weight and pay its share on the world stage.

In solidarity,
