Testimony Storytelling Workshop with ACLU-WI March 18

Event Dates:
03/18/21

The ACLU of Wisconsin wants to help you make sure your voice is heard in the upcoming state budget debates!

On February 16, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers introduced his 2021-2023 biennial budget, laying the foundation for what our state will look like over the next two years.

We want to make sure that elected officials know what we – their constituents – want out of the next Wisconsin Budget. We don't want them to just write their own budget planning what to do with our money, without our input. We need to lead the effort for a just and moral state budget. We need to see money invested into public benefits like education and healthcare, not into prisons. I know you care about what's happening to our state and our country. We've got a chance to join with other people from around the state to learn and strategize.
