Nuclear Victims
Remembrance Day:
Remembering 67 Tests after 67 years for 67 minutes

Monday, March 1, 2021 at 7 PM Central Time

In observance of the 67th anniversary of Castle Bravo, the Marshallese Educational Initiative, Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, Reverse the Trend, and International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War are convening a significant commemorative event with Pacific activists. It will be held on Monday, March 1 from 7pm to 8:07pm EST (67 minutes).

Marshallese youth, Pacific activists, and researchers will be sharing their perspectives on this solemn anniversary. We will also be featuring a video by Marshallese youth who have been expressing their views about the legacy of nuclear testing through the arts.

We are proud that Benetick Kabua Maddison, the Project Specialist on Youth, Climate, and Nuclear Issues of the Marshallese Educational Initiative; and Advisor of Reverse the Trend, will be moderating this event.
