Thurs, Dec. 3, 6 pm Public Meeting on Cleanup at Badger Army Ammunition Plant -  The Army is planning to hold its next public meeting on cleanup as a virtual meeting. This meeting is being conducted virtually to maintain social distancing in order to protect the health of the community during the COVID-19 response.The purpose of the meeting is to provide an update on ongoing activities at the former Badger Army Ammunition Plant (BAAP) and introduce the US Geological Survey’s groundwater modeling team at BAAP.  In addition, the Army and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will be discussing the path forward regarding the fire within the former settling pond area.  There will also be an update on PFAS sampling efforts.
