Book Discussion: “The Wolf at Twilight”

Event Dates:
01/15/19
SINSINAWA, Wis.—Join us at Sinsinawa Mound for a discussion of Kent Nerburn’s book, “The Wolf at Twilight.” We’ll meet Tuesday, Jan. 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. In the second of Nerburn’s “Neither Wolf Nor Dog” trilogy, he offers a touching, funny, and haunting journey that goes deep into reservation boarding-school mysteries, the dark confines of sweat lodges, and isolated Native homesteads far back in the Dakota hills. He brings the land of the northern High Plains alive and reveals the Native American way of teaching and learning with a depth that few outsiders have ever captured. Copies of the book are available for purchase in person or online at Sinsinawa Book & Gift Gallery. Discussion will be facilitated by Ecological Programming Coordinator Eric Anglada. No registration is necessary, and a freewill offering will be accepted. For more information, contact Anglada at 608-748-4411 or eric.anglada@gmail.com or visit our website at www.sinsinawa.org/moundcenter.
