Crawford Stewardship Project is looking for our first Executive Director! We are maturing as an organization and excited to add this brand new position to our existing fantastic team.
Located in SW Wisconsin, Crawford Stewardship Project is a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to protect Crawford and neighboring counties from threats of polluting/extractive industries, to promote sustainable land and water use, environmental justice, and local control of natural resources. We build coalitions and initiate proactive campaigns to tackle some of the most difficult issues facing our rural communities. Through our networks and with our allies, we work throughout the Driftless region and beyond. We foster connection and care for the ecosystems and watersheds we all rely on through community science as well as agricultural and hydrogeological education. We protect local communities by empowering people – especially those most potentially impacted by pollution – to find our voice and our power to participate in public processes, facilitating local democracy and self-governance.
