Join us in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa the next few weeks with Fermina Zarate Domínguez, an Indigenous Mixteca Farmer from Oaxaca, on tour entitled "In Defense of Land and Food Sovereignty." Since 2003, Fermina has been part of the technical team of CEDICAM, promoting her experiences of soil conservation, reforestation of native trees, rainwater recollection, conservation of native seeds and food production, while promoting the importance of conserving a local food culture that includes products grown in the milpa system.
