The talk by Michele Naar-Obed  will focus on the work of the fledgling Duluth-Rania Friendship Exchange Project. Rania is a small city in the Kurdish north of Iraq.

Organized by Mike Simonson (KUWS/WPR reporter), the company representatives will present their proposal and answer questions. This is not a public hearing, but it is an opportunity to gather facts. At Dorothy Day House, 1712 Jefferson St.   Paul Zerby, a former resident of Duluth, will share about his first novel "The Grass" A Young Man's Journey to the Korean War.  His book was selected as a finalist for the Bellweather Prize for fiction established by Barbara Kingsolver in support of literature for social change.  The book is about a young man expelled from the U of Mn for protesting racism and then joins the Army during the Korean War.  One review said, &quot
