A program for teens & adults by Ann Bausum, Jane Addams Children’s Book Award winner.

This program draws from Ann Bausum’s books Marching to the Mountaintop, Freedom Riders and With Courage and Cloth to show parallel uses of nonviolent resistance using stories and music from civil rights campaigns and quotes from the times. The author shows how qualities like courage, ingenuity, camaraderie, and the influence of the news media have made the difference in advancing human rights.
