The Latino Academy of Workforce Development (LAWD) is seeking a qualified, bilingual candidate for the Program Coordinator position. LAWD’s Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating all LAWD classes, trainings, and schedules with students, instructors, and program partners. While the Program Coordinator does not deliver classes or trainings themselves, they are expected to develop a positive connection with, and act as a resource for, LAWD’s adult learners. The Program Coordinator reports to the LAWD Program Director, and will work with Vera Court Neighborhood Center, Inc.’s Executive Director, and other LAWD team members.

The Latino Academy of Workforce Development (LAWD) is a culturally competent, bilingual adult education and employment program. LAWD’s unique ‘education through community’ approach works closely with students, responds to the community’s educational needs quickly, and creates pathways to improved education and employment for the Latino community. LAWD serves approximately 250 students weekly through its classes, trainings, and certifications. LAWD is a program of Vera Court Neighborhood Center, Inc.

Salary: 28,000 to 31,000 based on experience
