10/13 Mon 7:30 – 10 pm Panel Discussion: The Presidential Candidates and the Future of US-Foreign Policy in the Middle East – Madison. UW- Lowell Hall, Room B1-a/b .This evening will allow experts from different academic disciplines to get together for mediated discussion on the future of US-Middle East foreign policy under a McCain or Obama administration. Sitting on the panel will be Middle East and US policy experts primarily from the University of Wisconsin. Professors Uli Schamiloglu, Nadav Shelef, Jeremi Suri, Joe Elder and a spokesperson from the McCain campaign headquarters will discuss in detail their views of what an administration under each candidate will mean for US-Middle East relations and the domestic repercussions such policies could have here in the United States.
