Kids Against Hunger Project - Park Falls

Event Dates:

On Oct. 18 at the Park Falls High School local people of various towns will come together to package food that will be shipped to those most in need here and abroad.  It is a program called KIDS AGAINST HUNGER initiated by a wealthy man in a small Minnesota town after he witnessed the severe starvation of kids in Haiti and other parts of the world.  He believed that these people need not die.  There is plenty of food to feed everyone.  The packages are composed of rice, nutritious vitamins and minerals, etc. that will stave off the starvation of so many.  We need volunteers and money for the event.  Call Don Timmerman and Roberta  Thurstin if you want to help at 715-762-8239.
