An opinion column by UW-Madison student Steve Horn in the campus Badger Herald, supporting the Safeguarding the Guard legislation being promoted by WNPJ and other groups, has sparked some discussion, including a letter from a National Guard member who seems to misunderstand the legislation, which would apply to future federal callups, not troops now activated.
