“Shock and Awe Comes Home: U.S. Health Costs of the Wars in Iraq & Afghanistan” - Madison

Dr. Evan Kanter, immediate past president of Physicians for Social Responsibility, will present at talk titled,

 

 

Shock and Awe Comes Home: U.S. Health Costs of the Wars in Iraq & Afghanistan

 

at Grand Rounds at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, March 5th at the Madison Veteran’s Hospital Auditorium.

 

Presenting his research, Dr. Kanter will address the impact of war and the role of health care providers in preventing war.  Dr. Kanter is a psychiatrist at Seattle Veterans Hosipital and studied here at the UW- Madison, serving as the president of the Madison PSR chapter at that time.
