“Shock and Awe Comes Home: U.S. Health Costs of the Wars in Iraq & Afghanistan” - Madison

Dr. Evan Kanter, immediate past president of Physicians for Social Responsibility, will present at talk titled,

“Shock and Awe Comes Home: U.S. Health Costs of the Wars in Iraq & Afghanistan”

at Grand Rounds at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, March 5^th at the Madison Veteran’s Hospital Auditorium.

Presenting his research, Dr. Kanter will address the impact of war and the role of health care providers in preventing war.  Dr. Kanter is a psychiatrist at Seattle Veterans Hosipital and studied here at the UW- Madison, serving as the president of the Madison PSR chapter at that time.
