9/22 Mon 10:30 am ‘Wasted Money – Wasted Lives’ Rally in Support of Prison Justice – Madison. At Department of Corrections headquarters - 3099 E. Washington. The Rally is organized and sponsored by Prison Action Wisconsin Inc. (PAW). Note: there is a car-pool option from Milwaukee: Buses leave from Lena’s Grocery in Midtown Mall at 9:30 A.M.  They will return to Milwaukee in the early afternoon.  Fare is on a sliding scale according to what you can afford.  To save a seat, call Sarah at 414-931-7321 or Anthony at 414-464-9094. We look forward to participation from all prison related and concerned groups. The focus of the rally (and PAW) is the lack of transparency and accountability of the Parole Commission and the conditions of confinement within the institution. PAW is formed by some of the original organizers of PAM which came into existence after concerted efforts by Prison Action Coalition, Forum For Understanding Prisons and some dedicated Milwaukee families. PAW will be consensus driven, focusing on the issues brought by the membership.
