What is the responsibility of concerned citizens when our country is at war? Gandhi once said, “When the people lead, the government will follow.”
But what is the most just and prudent direction regarding this 8 year old war in Afghanistan? Grassroots Citizens for Peace and the Dodgeville Public Library have organized an educational series about the war to help participants understand this complex situation from various perspectives.
We hope you join us for these educational events and community discussions. Please feel free to and share this information with friends.
Sincerely,
Jane H. Kavaloski
