Dr. Suri’s presentation will be followed by a
question and answer session.
Professor Jeremi Suri’s research examines the interactions between states, peoples,
and cultures - especially in the twentieth century. He is interested in the decisions of leaders and institutions,
as well as the influence of ideas and social movements. Through multi-archival research he hopes to "globalize"
our understanding of relations among societies and America's often contested place in the world.
He earned a PhD at Yale University; a MA at Ohio University; and a BA at Stanford University.
