Professor Jeremi Suri’s research examines the interactions between states, peoples,

and cultures - especially in the twentieth century.  He is interested in the decisions of leaders and institutions,

as well as the influence of ideas and social movements. Through multi-archival research he hopes to "globalize"

our understanding of relations among societies and America's often contested place in the world.

He earned a PhD at Yale University; a MA at Ohio University; and a BA at Stanford University.
