350 Wisconsin and its sister political action organization, 350 Wisconsin Action, are recruiting for important new positions. Please consider applying for these positions, and feel free to share this announcement with others who may be interested.

Communications and Development Fellow (for 350 Wisconsin). This position will work with 350 Wisconsin’s staff and volunteer leadership to coordinate and implement messaging and fundraising programs. 

The fellow will support our communication strategy to educate and activate climate-concerned individuals and will engage with our campaign teams to support their communication and messaging needs. 

The fellow will support our fundraising team and development director with event planning and research support, donor research and stewardship, and database management.

Experience is preferred with strategic communications, media outreach, fundraising, grant research, and/or issue advocacy. Candidates must also exhibit a passion for building the power of people in combating climate change and a strong commitment to DEIJ (diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice).

Political Organizer (for 350 Wisconsin Action). This position will work with the 350 Wisconsin Action’s Board, Political Action Team, and Executive Director to strategically plan and implement both electoral work and building 350 Wisconsin Action; engage and train volunteers and staff in the political process both as activists and as future candidates; and help with fundraising. Organizing experience is required, as is a commitment to building the power of people to make a difference in combating climate change. Strong candidates will also bring experience in political data management and targeting, organizing principles, DEIJ (diversity, equity, inclusion and justice), and short-and long-term planning. Strong candidates will also have an understanding of Wisconsin communities and politics. The overarching goal is to effectively build new bases of permanent climate leadership and support throughout Wisconsin.
