Escape Java Joint (916 Williamson St.)  A community discussion about the current threats, both locally and globally, to safe food and family farming, along with a brainstorm on how we can defend our food sovereignty. Screening of the acclaimed Cuban documentary, Power of Community, introduced by John Peck of Family Farm Defenders, followed by presentations by supporters of  Drumlin Community Garden and the West Waubesa Preservation Coalition – two local struggles to defend agriculture in the face of maldevelopment. Hosted by the Green Action Network (GAN). Info? tntnbt@tds.net
