Madison Women for Peace
We have addressed a number of important issues -- the illegality and immorality of the war on Iraq; the sorry state of U.S. media, especially during war time; the proud pacifist history of Mother's Day; and the threat posed to democracy by media consolidation and cross-ownership. We see our role as highlighting the role of women and girls in peace-building, and adding our feminist voices and perspectives to the Madison peace community.
